A QUICK NOTICE

Hello!

I just wanted to say that tomorrow (04.05.13) I am going to be shopping in London with my friend and blogger Poppy! This means that a post may not be up tomorrow because I'm not sure what time I'll get home to upload, and I don't want to upload it super late in UK time-If the post isn't up tomorrow then it will be up on Monday.
I wanted to say this so that you don't think I've forgotten about the Sunday uploads, but as I am going shopping I will most likely, almost certainly be doing a haul which will probably be up next Sunday as I won't have the time to prepare one for the post on Monday.

I hope you have a nice long weekend!

7 DEADLY SINS OF BEAUTY TAG

Hello!

Today, I am going to be doing the 7 Deadly Sins of Beauty Tag! This is the first time I have done a tag, and I'm excited to answer the questions. If you don't know what the 7 Deadly Sins of Beauty Tag is, it's a set of questions all based upon beauty in which you have to answer-If you want to have a go at the tag then here's where I got the questions.

TAG QUESTIONS

1. GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?
My most inexpensive item is probably my MUA eyeliner, the eyeliner is black and lasts for quite a long time. As you might know, nearly everything sold in MUA is £1 so that is definately my most inexpensive item.

The most expensive item is my Naked Palette by Urban Decay. My palette was £36, it was quite pricey but worth it as all the colours that come in the palette are all natural looking tones and last for a long time.

2. WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with? What product has been the hardest to get?
I have a love/hate relationship with liquid foundation. This sounds odd, but because my skin is rather pale I find it hard to get a foundation that fits my skin tone and works well.

Eos lip balm. My search for an Eos lip balm has been going on for too long now, it is extra hard to buy one because I'm in the UK whereas the lip balms are sold in US. Currently, I still do not own one of the Eos lip balms but one day I shall own one.

3. GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?
Hmm. I don't think I have any beauty products that smell particularly amazing. But, I do have a really nice perfume called Loverdose by Diesel. I'm not too sure on how I would describe the smell of this, but it smells quite sweet and fresh.

4. SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?
Eyeshadow. I am very good at neglecting eyeshadow, this is because I am lazy, and in the morning I have enough hassle of getting ready for school so never have the time. Also, I would have to wear colours that are sophisticated and ones that school allows me to wear.

5. PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
Mascara definately gives me the most confidence. The reason being is that I have very fair eyelashes as my hair is fair, without mascara my eyes look very small and my face looks bare. Previously, I have had my eyelashes tinted/dyed before and these lasted for abut 2 months then wore away, and I didn't really feel they made a difference. Wearing mascara opens up my eyes and adds alot definition to them which is what I like.

6. LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
I love really defined and shaped jawlines, I don't know why but they look really cool.

7. ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?
One thing I am really loving the sound of at the moment is the Dr.Jart BB cream. I have heard lots about this product and it apparently works wonders! The BB cream is meant to tone up your skin and is a perfect cover for scars and blemishes.

Thank you for reading! I hope you liked this post, it is quite different from what I normally do and I tag anyone who's reading this to do the 7 Deadly Sins of Beauty tag.

BARRY M GELLY NAIL PAINT

Hello!

Recently, I have discovered a new Barry M range called Gelly Hi-Shine, This range comes in 12 different colours and has a Hi-Shine Gel effect to provide an extra glossy finish to your nails.

I got the nail paint in the colour Blueberry which is a bright blue, and quite similar to Boxer Shorts by Essie but a little brighter. Most of the Hi-Shine nail paints are bold colours, so of you're not a fan of wearing standout nail paint then you might not like this range, but there are a few darker colours that are in the Hi-Shine range which you may like.

I was abit weery when I got the nail paint in Blueberry because, the colour is much brighter than what I would usually wear, but I thought I would try something different and now I love it. I'm not worried about it looking too bright anymore, and as it is Spring people are starting to wear brighter colours, then again I would say this is more of a Winter colour because it is blue, and Winter is usually associated with blue.

When applying the nail paint, you don't need alot on the applicator as a little bit goes a long way, but you do need 2 coats otherwise the colour doesn't look as bright as it should do. Also, the colour glides along the nails nicely and doesn't look streaky at all. The great thing about the nail paint is that it drys quickly, as I have a short attention span when it comes to waiting for nails to dry, this is good because then the nails don't smudge and stay looking lovely.

I'm not one for enjoying painting nails, but using the Hi-Shine range has really made me enjoy it more. Not only because of the fact it has a fast drying rate, but knowing that the outcome of finishing my nails will look good, it gives me motivation to carry on with my nails and not give up half way through like usual. Am I the only one that gets like this when painting nails or do other people do this aswell?

If you're ever in a drugstore and see the Barry M range, I advise you go and look at the Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints. They are only £3.99 and leave the ultimate shine to your nails which is what most girls want! There is no need to apply a clear top coat as the nail paint is shiny enough as it is, and lasts for a long time with no chipping.

Thank you for reading, you can find the Hi-Shine nail paints in most drugstores-if there isn't a drugstore close to you then order one here.
