HAPPY EASTER!

Hello and Happy Easter!

Today it is Easter Sunday, the time families can get together and celebrate. I went to my Stepdad's parents house for a gathering, and I got to see my step Nieces and Nephews which are oh so cute!

As you may know, Lent began on 13th February. I gave up chocolate which was very hard for me as I adore it, but I have managed to not eat one bit of chocolate until today-which is when Lent is over. If you know me then you know I love love love chocolate, and giving up chocolate has caused me to change the things I eat on a daily basis.

Normally, I would have a chocolate shake in the mornings whereas I had to change it to strawberry shakes instead. When I get in from school I would snack on something chocolaty, but instead I would have bagels or a piece of fruit. As hard as it was giving up a delicacy, it has enlightened me that I can do something as long as I set my mind to it. In addition, I now eat more healthily. Although I did indeed eat alot of chocolate today as it is Easter, but now in my day to day life I will now substitute unhealthy snacks for fruit and only have the occasional chocolate.

I have to admit, today I did overdose on the chocolate as I hadn't had it in what felt like forever, but surprisingly it took me rather a long time to put the chocolate in my mouth. As weird as it sounds, I felt like I had come so far in not eating something I love, and just to give it up like that was quite sad. Not long after, I did eventually scoff down alot of chocolate and have demolished most of my eggs-oops. I do feel proud of myself that I managed to do lent and said no to something I adore, if you gave up something for lent and managed to not eat it for the period of time then you have all my congratulations.

This post was more or less just a little update of what I've been doing for the past 1 1/2 ish months, but next Sunday or sometime during the week I'll upload a beauty post to make up for this just being a chatty one.

Post Update
I am going to be changing the way I do the Weekly Wishlists. Before ,I would post one every 3rd Sunday, but as I am slowly running out of shops to do I will upload a Weekly Wishlist whenever-this may be once a month or one every 2 months, but I'm slowly running out of shops. Eventually I will have to end up repeating some shops, but stocks change and no items will be the same. I'll change the name of the Weekly Wishlists to Wishlists because they aren't weekly anymore.

Thank you for reading, and I hope you had/have a lovely Easter!

WEEKLY WISHLIST : BENEFIT

Good Evening!

It's time for another Weekly Wishlist, today I am basing my wishlist in Benefit. Benefit is a shop that sells very good quality makeup and is known for having the infamous 'They're Real' Mascara!

Benefit Wishlist:

It may seem odd that I have a pencil sharpener in my wishlist but I haven't got sharpener for my eyeliner and eyebrow pencil. Another thing I really want from my wishlist is the Fakeup Concealer, the concealer I use at the moment isn't quite my skin tone, and leaves the skin looking dry and rough so I think it's time I got a new one.

Currently, I am using a Benefit blusher called Dandelion which only gives off a very small amount of colour to my cheeks-it's almost unnoticeably pink. The Hervana blusher looks promising, and I believe it would make my cheeks brighter and add more colour than Dandelion. In addition, the Fine One One Cheek Brightener also looks promising, the three colours in the stick look as though they would project a very soft colour onto my cheeks, and make my face brighter.

Most of the Benefit products I have are so good and work wonders, if you don't own anything from Benefit I suggest you go out and buy something from their range. One thing I really like about Benefit products is the way they're packaged, the packaging is so cute and looks so pretty-especially the perfumes. What especially stands out about the packaging for the perfumes, is that they're packaged in boxes that look like houses in which you unfold to reveal the contents, each perfume casing is designed differently with different scenery on the front and inside. I don't know about you, but when I receive perfume boxes I throw them away and keep the perfume, but if I ever got a Benefit perfume I would most certainly keep the packaging it is that cute.

Benefit is easily one of my favourite beauty brands with the high quality and amazing range of products. Some products are quite expensive, but whatever you buy will most likely work and make you a happy shopper.
XxX

Some of the links may be out of date and the clothing isn't sold anymore in the shop, but at the time when I found and uploaded the post the items were on sale.

L'OCCITANE OBBESSION

Hello Ladies (maybe gentlemen),

I have recently started to become obsessed with L'Occitane products, which range from body washes, to face scrubs, and everything in the shop is beautiful.

When I go to Milton Keynes shopping centre, I always seem to find myself entering L'Occitane and coming out with something purchased...oops. The thing about the shop is that everyone working there is so lovely and welcoming, last time I went I was offered a Strawberry and Raspberry tea which was rather yummy! My mum went into L'Occitane at Christmas time and she was offered some champagne, If you have a L'Occitane where you live, do you get served drinks at all?

Anyway, here are my products from L'Occitane:

As you can see I do have quite a lot of things, most of these have been gifts or came in a set. From the left I'll say what each item is and give a small description about it. As some of these products are the same thing just different smells I will just note what they smell of.

Ultra Rich Body Lotion- Very moisturising  and doesn't leave the skin feeling sticky after.

Essential Water- Spray onto the face for a refreshing feel (Not for drinking), face feels refreshed and awake after use.
Precious Cream- A moisturiser for the face, smells of freshly washed bed sheets.
Conditioner- Gives hair a smooth feel, doesn't leave the hair feeling knotted.
Shampoo- Refreshing feel on the hair, doesn't make the scalp feel dry or itchy.
Body Lotion (rectangular bottle)- Smells citrusy.
Pink Shower Gel- Rose, floral scent (Peony), Use in the shower-applied to the skin.
Pink Beauty Milk- Rose, floral scent (Peony), Use for moisturising.
Perfume- Smells citrusy, very lovely perfume and surprisingly, one of my favourites.
Shower Oil- Use in the shower as a body wash, smells almondy.
Square Soap- Can be used as hand soap or for the body, smells of honey.
Leaf Soap- Citrusy smell-like the perfume.
Hand cream (small)- Apply to the hands, not sure what this smells of but has some sort of scent to it.
Cooling Hand Cream/Gel- Smells tangy and slightly citrusy.
Sugar Bath Cube- Place in the bath as a bath bomb, has mint, pine and rosemary oils in.

All the products came in various sets, the ones with the leafs on and are all citrusy smelling came in the Revitalizing Verbena Essentials set. The 2 Pink items came in a set of 3 but I have used the Hand cream up, this is called the Piovine Flora Trio

Currently the set in which I got the products with dark blue bottles, rich body lotion and the small hand cream in is not on the website, so I will just link the products with the name up there^, (The products I have are tester sizes as they did come in sets).

One thing I am really loving from L'Occitane is the Essential Water. In the morning, I spray this over my face and it makes me feel more awake, it doesn't wake you up in a shocking almost uncomfortable way, you just feel soothed and ready for the day. Another thing I really like is the L'Occitane hand creams.

My hands get dry quite quickly, especially in Winter and I feel that the hand creams work to keep them moisturised. Sometimes, hand creams do leave your hands feeling sticky and take too long for the moisturiser to sink into the hands, but L'Occitane hand creams sink in quite quickly and you only need to apply a small amount as a little bit goes a long way.

UPDATE

Hiya!

I'm writing this post to say that I am now going to be doing a new blog post every Sunday, and only Sunday. As a blog writer I find it difficult to keep up with a 3 blog posts a week schedule, trying to think of that many ideas is very hard. If I carried on doing 3 a week, that would end up being 12 posts a month which means 12 different ideas, and slowly I will have nothing to blog about anymore and this blog will be dead. A new post will be up every Sunday without fail, if I can't seem to upload one for a reason I will post one a different day during that week. As you know from my old schedule on Sundays I would post a Weekly Wishlist, but from now on I will post one every 3rd Sunday, and have 2 other posts on the other weeks. In addition, my Product and Clothing Of The Week will change every Monday as they have always been changed on Mondays, and if I change the days of doing that I will be overly confused!

Thank you for understanding.

WEEKLY WISHLIST : MAC

Aloha!

What did you do this weekend? Well, I was in a show with my drama group called Beauty and the Beast, it is quite a well known Disney classic, and was very fun to be in! As it's Sunday it's Weekly Wishlist time, today I am going to Mac for my wishlist. Mac is a make-up brand which does really nice products and I can't wait to narrow it down to my top 10!

That is my Top 10! As you can tell I love the colour pink, which is why most of the products are pink. The Nail Lacquer in Steamy is one of my favourite varnishes, the colour is a very bright and hot pink - I like to describe this as barbie pink. I am also in LOVE with the Archie's Girls collection from Mac, the packaging is just so cute and the colours of everything is so nice!

Currently I don't own anything from the Archie's Girls collection but really want to get something from the range, aswell as the Eye Kohl in Smolder because I desperately need a new eye pencil.

I have heard many great things about Mac Studio Fix powders from most beauty youtubers, and I really believe it works. At the moment I use Tanya Burrs favourite face powder which is Rimmel London's Stay Matte Powder. It does work well, and is one of those powders in which you can moisturise before using but still leaving your skin looking matted, yet I would still like to try the Studio Fix powders.

In addition, I also really want to get the Eye Kohl. If you haven't noticed in most of my wishlists I have included an Eye liner/Kohl because I really need a new one. The one I currently use is good, and it does work but it is getting quite old and will slowly run out. Hopefully, I can get a new one and maybe it will be the Eye Kohl from Mac, the pencil looks creamy and as if it will glide across your eyes smoothly without leaving your eyelid feeling sore or irritated.

Thanks for reading!
